app-ads.txt — authorizing Floxis for apps and CTV#
Apps and CTV inventory use app-ads.txt, a separate file with identical syntax. The line is the
same:
floxis.tech,<Floxis seller id>,DIRECTThe difference is where it lives. Crawlers do not read the app store listing — they read the
developer website declared in your app's store listing, and fetch app-ads.txt from that
domain's root:
https://your-developer-site.com/app-ads.txt- The developer website URL in your App Store / Google Play / Roku listing must be set and correct. If it is blank or points at a dead domain, no crawler can ever authorize your app.
- One
app-ads.txton the developer domain covers every app that declares that domain. - Websites and apps are tracked separately. A correct
ads.txtdoes not authorize your apps, and a correctapp-ads.txtdoes not authorize your websites. If you have both, you need both files.
